Now, I’m running for Florida Federation of Alpha Chapter’s District Director to continue elevating our district to higher heights. With my leadership, experience, energy, tenacity and your support, I am confident that I am the leader the district needs to continue our upward trajectory.

Leadership & Service At The Local, District, And Regional Levels

Brother Polke was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha on April 1, 2006, through the Delta Xi Lambda Chapter in Orlando, Florida. He is a Life Member of Alpha and currently serves as the Florida District Executive Director, Southern Region Associate Chief of Staff, and Delta Xi Lambda’s Nomination and Election Committee Chair.

Brother Polke has been active in the House of Alpha both financially and in service for 18 years. He has served in various leadership roles over the years at the local, state, and regional levels, including Chapter Treasurer, Chapter Vice-President, Chapter President, Chapter Immediate Past President, and Florida District Treasurer, just to name a few.

Quality results is what Brother Polke delivers and continues to provide in any service leadership capacity he occupies.

The Alpha L.I.G.H.T. Campaign is a vision that has evolved since I was first initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha. Alpha has taught me the importance of selfless service and being a light for others. Light is love, encouragement, peace, patience, and hope in hopeless situations. Everyone needs light to be effective and successful in life.

The Alpha L.I.G.H.T. Campaign strives to provide these light attributes for Brothers and other stakeholders to embrace, resulting in a forward movement of the Florida District while focusing on five key areas defined through the acronym “LIGHT”:

Running for office is not only a time commitment but a financial commitment. The Florida District currently consists of 48 chapters (17 college and 31 alumni) expanded on the mainland of the State of Florida, the Bahamas Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and the Republic of Panama. The Alpha L.I.G.H.T. campaign goal is to reach all Brothers and stakeholders within the district, which takes significant financial resources to be successful.
